Walking through the desert that we call the Sands Of Time
The vultures dance around me in a pattern so sublime
I've been walking for a hundred years
forgot my name and all my fears
My only friends are the sun and the rocks
Time melts together like Dali's clocks
No water, food, or home, but somehow yet there is nothing that I lack
'Cause they mean nothing me, because all that I need is my music
to keep me on the right track

The rhythm of the wind and sun is such a beautiful sound
The snakes they try to strike me,
I would call for help but nobody's around
Ocean fills the earth, and yet I'm stuck on solid ground
But I still have my voice so I won't let it get me down

I'm back once again,
It's been a long time
Since I gave you a rhyme to open up your mind's eye
Kept quiet for far too long so I'm back on this track to right that wrong
Maybe most of these words don't mean a thing
And I've gotta use machines in order to sing
But I can still give you this piece of advice
if you'd be so kind to just listen to me

Everyone has words that they can use and I know that it's not unheard
'Cause even if one in a billion hears it, well, it just might change their world
so when you're feeling isolated or abandoned and you're stuck in a rut
know that you're still you and your heart can stay true when you're trapped in this desert because...
